For elite athletes, anxiety, depression and emotional recovery are sometimes the most devastating and most difficult obstacles to overcome post-injury. Christine shares her story of recovery and the battle within to realize she is much more than an elite runner. Adopting a new way of thinking about identity helped Christine be a better Marine, wife, dog-mom, bread-baker, friend and daughter by realizing she is more than her sport, which proved to be instrumental in her physical rehabilitation and discovering her gift of coaching and being a contributor to others.
