In this episode, my guest Tanya and I discuss “What does mental health look like?”.
We often have a quick response to the question..”How are you doin?” with an answer of “I’m fine”. But are you? Are you prepared to be truthful with your answer if you are not fine and is the person asking the question prepared for your answer if you are not fine?
What does it look like to not be OK and is it really OK not to be OK?
Mental struggles are not always simple to explain and in some cases, even harder to understand.
We all have well meaning intentions but perhaps by opening up more conversations about mental health, we can all become more aware and more understanding when a person does answer the question of “How are you doing?” with “Actually, I’m not doing well today”
Please have a listen and share it amongst your friends and family.
