Bg: В началото на златната есен, в град София, между редовете на стари къщи и новопостроени сгради, двама млади хора се разхождаха ръка за ръка.
En: At the beginning of the golden autumn in the city of Sofia, amidst the rows of old houses and newly built buildings, two young people were walking hand in hand.

Bg: Името на момчето беше Иван, а приятелката му се казваше Мария.
En: The boy's name was Ivan, and his girlfriend was named Maria.

Bg: Иван беше висок и усмихнат, а Мария имаше бляскави очи и дълга коса, която блестеше като злато под слънцето.
En: Ivan was tall and cheerful, while Maria had sparkling eyes and long hair that shone like gold in the sunlight.

Bg: Спокойният им разговор беше прекъснат от шумолене и лай на куче.
En: Their peaceful conversation was interrupted by the noise and barking of a dog.

Bg: Огледаха се наоколо и забелязаха кафяво куче с пакостливи очи, което ги наблюдаваше от другата страна на улицата.
En: They looked around and noticed a brown dog with mischievous eyes observing them from the other side of the street.

Bg: Кучето се казваше Рекси и беше известно в квартала със своите шалове.
En: The dog's name was Rexi, and it was well-known in the neighborhood for its mischief.

Bg: Изведнъж, с лукав блясък в очите, Рекси засече пътя им и започна да тича към тях.
En: Suddenly, with a mischievous glint in its eyes, Rexi changed its course and started running towards them.

Bg: Иван, въпреки че беше изненадан, хвана Мария за ръка и бързо потегли да бяга.
En: Despite being surprised, Ivan grabbed Maria's hand and quickly started to run.

Bg: В желанието си да избегнат закачливото куче, Иван и Мария стигнаха до известния паметник Александър Невски, където много хора се събираха, за да се любуват на красивата църква.
En: In their desire to escape the playful dog, Ivan and Maria reached the famous monument of Alexander Nevsky, where many people gathered to admire the beautiful church.

Bg: Хората наблюдаваха забавната гонитба и започнаха да се смеят, а някои дори аплодираха.

Bg: Иван и Мария, вече почти без дъх и изпълнени със смях, спряха да почиват.

Bg: Рекси се приближи до тях, махайки с опашката и явно искайки да бъде погален.
