On this week's episode of Parenting Roundabout's entertainment-themed Round 2, Catherine and Terri chat about Dancing With the Stars, the start of the second season of Sports Night, and the latest episode in our West Wing watch. Here's your road map: 00:42 Dancing With the Stars — It was Latin Night, which means lots of bright colors, glow-in-the-dark body paint, hip-shaking and sexy face-work, showers on stage, and Pitbull, apparently. We felt the judges perhaps indulged in a few too many tropical drinks, because neither their comments or their scores made a whole lot of sense. But we were happy with who went home, and have the next departure all planned out. 10:15 Mascots — Christopher Guest has a new mockumentary courtesy of Netflix, and Catherine watched it. 15:27 Sports Night — We started Season 2 with the episodes "Special Powers," "When Something Wicked This Way Comes," "Cliff Gardner," and "Louise Revisited." Pro: William H. Macy as Sam Donovan. Con: *Sigh* Dana's dating plan. 22:15 The West Wing — Keeping pace with West Wing Weekly, we watched the third episode of Season 2, "In This White House," and said hello to Ainsley Hayes and her interesting conversational style (see video). For next week's episode, we'll be watching the Sports Night episodes "Kafelnikov," "Shane," "Kyle Whitaker's Got Two Sacks," and "The Reunion" (watch along on ABC.com), as well as Dancing With the Stars and The West Wing season 2 episode "And It's Surely to Their Credit."
