The crew was out last night at a celebrity bartending event, raising money for Equicenter's therapeutic programs through the power of equestrian. And to top it off, we're celebrating Dan's birthday with some delicious Crumble Cookies. But that's just the beginning of our adventures! Bill had quite the surprise encounter at the charity event when he ran into none other than Sheriff Todd Baxter! And if that wasn't enough, he also had a chat with our pod favorite Stephanie Ide's ex-husband, Rich. But what really threw Bill for a loop was when Rich showed up at the studio to join us for today's episode.
Rich dives right into the conversation, discussing New York State's ambitious goal of having all cars sold by 2035 be electric. As a dealership owner, Rich offers some intriguing insights into the practicality and challenges of such a mandate. Plus, he and Greg Connors discuss the importance of business owners connecting with and building up their local communities.
Speaking of community revival, we have a special guest joining us today. Paul Cole, owner of the Land of Legends raceway, is here to talk about the exciting reopening of the Rose City Drive-In in Newark after 39 years of dormancy. Paul shares the journey it took to breathe new life into this beloved local spot.
And of course, we can't forget about our resident sports enthusiast, Greg Connors, who shares his thoughts on the future of the Buffalo Bills, especially with the looming question of Stefon Diggs' departure. Plus, we'll wrap things up with a round of Closest to the Pin.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy another jam-packed episode of "The Billified Podcast"!
