Rogelio "Roger" Sanchez is a retired Austin Police Homicide Detective who was the lead investigator on the Julie Ann Gonzalez case. Julie is an Austin woman who disappeared in March 2010. Her estranged husband, George De La Cruz was ultimately arrested, tried, and convicted of her murder. Julie's body has never been recovered. A murder conviction without a body is a rarity.
