This is episode 119 of You, Me, and BTC – your liberty and Bitcoin podcast!
This episode is easily one of our best. It’s all about what the world will be like when the robots take over. Theoretically, people could have access to virtually infinite resources if we’re ever able to efficiently automate enough tasks. What will people be interested in if that happens? How will the economy operate? What will rich people want when they already have everything they need?
One serious possibility we’ll discuss is that people will use art as a currency. It might sound crazy, but is art the one thing that robots could never automatically produce? Do we think machines could ever generate words, images, sounds, or videos with meaning? What is it that really gives meaning to a work of art?
Tune in for our thoughts on all that and tons more! Your hosts are Daniel Brown, Tim Baker, and John Stuart. Enjoy!
Leave a comment and tell us if you think art could ever be automated!
We’d also like to thank this episode’s sponsor, LuckyBit.
