However, his marriage to an American Christian Woman caused Dr. Pourhassan to begin to question the teachings of what is mistakenly known today to be Islamic Law. For seven years, Dr. Pourhassan immersed himself in the studay of the Koran and the resalahs (rules for daily living) as taught by Moslem clerics. This book is the result of that intense effort.
