Amy Law, the National Sales Manager and daughter of Roger Halliwell who started RJ's Licorice Company now based in Levin, New Zealand joined New Zealand Broadcaster, Stu Frith and American Journalist, Victoria Gaither, on radio to talk about the company's 21st birthday celebration. Amy tells us about the attempt at the making the world's largest licorice allsort on October 7th when workers build a one metre tall candy mountain, later to be eaten by people on hand for the celebrations. It will be a day filled with free samples, free games and amusement rides, food stalls, exclusive merchandise and factory shop deals. Her father, Roger, along with her brother, went to Fargo, North Dakota back in the day to buy the best equipment to make the tasty sweets as Amy explains in this interview.
