As I try my damnedest to navigate through Spreaker, I'm also doing all that I can to upload all my material here just to get my foot in the door. Even if that means having to do Event Reviews when I miss out on getting a chance to do them with the We Are RIZIN Podcast due to oversleeping.
About this podcast, I was supposed to do this with my usual podcast partner Andrew Benjamin & TrashyDrakeFan, but the damn Sandman got to me! So, I reached out to famed JMMA Highlight Video/VTR Maker BabaluJack to talk with him about the craziness that happened at #RIZIN22 on August 9th in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. By craziness, I meant that the fight card ended with 8 of the 9 fights on that card being within the distance. Meaning, there was a hell of a lot of action for us to talk about in addition to one weird instance that involved new RIZIN Siging/Former K-1 Star Koji "KOUZI" Tanaka & Established RIZIN & RISE Kickboxing Star (& former sacrificial lamb to Floyd Mayweather) "SHINDOU" Tenshin Nasukawa. In addition to that, we talked about the potential of RIZIN having a Bantamweight Grand Prix, a bit about the RIZIN Women's Division, the star power that the promotion has despite travel restrictions due to COVID-19, the RIZIN Lightweight/Featherweight Scene & much more.
