Author John Gipson non-fiction book, "Winners". This non-fiction story is set in the mid-1950s. John Gipson, a member of the legendary 1st Black State Champion Basketball Team, the 1955 Crispus Attucks Tigers. They went 30-1, and a undefeated record of 31-0 the following year.

He played with the great "Mr. Basketball", Oscar Robertson, and he is a member of the Indiana Basketball 2005 & 2006 "Hall of Fame" class.

Mr. John Gipson has been featured on ESPN, TNT, INSIDE THE NBA & CBS SPORTS & Numerous schools and magazines. He operated three (3) businesses, and has been married for 50 years. In addition, he is the two times recipient of the Hospitality Industry Award and a documentary can be seen on YouTube called "Something To Cheer About".
