Cy: Roedd yr haul haf yn tywynnu'n gryf dros gastell Caernarfon.
En: The summer sun was shining brightly over Caernarfon Castle.

Cy: Roedd twristiaid o gwmpas pob congl, yn sefyll am hunluniau ac yn gwrando ar eu canllawiau.
En: Tourists were around every corner, standing for selfies and listening to their guides.

Cy: Gareth, gwisgo het llyfrau hanes o dan ei fraich, roedd yn edrych ar y castell â llygaid teimladol.
En: Gareth, wearing a hat with history books under his arm, looked at the castle with emotional eyes.

Cy: Roedd yn brysur ceisio lleoli Rhian yng nghanol y bobl.
En: He was busy trying to locate Rhian in the crowd.

Cy: Doedd Gareth ddim wedi gweld Rhian ers dros ddegawd.

En: Rhian’s eyes stared at him for a moment, then she smiled.

Cy: Tra roedd y grŵp yn symud ymlaen i’r nesaf adran, aeth Gareth ag ychydig gamau drwodd er mwyn siarad â hi’n breifat.
En: While the group moved on to the next section, Gareth took a few steps forward to speak with her privately.

Cy: "Pam wyt ti'n dawel, Rhian?
En: "Why are you quiet, Rhian?

Cy: Roeddwn i'n meddwl amdanat ti drwy'r wythnosau diwethaf yma."
En: I’ve been thinking about you for weeks now."

Cy: Roedd Rhian yn amau, yn edrych i lawr.
En: Rhian hesitated, looking down.

Cy: "Roeddem yn ffrindiau da Gareth, ond roedd yna bethau’n... rhaid i ni ddeall ein calon dros newid."
En: "We were good friends, Gareth, but there were things… we need to understand our hearts over time."

Cy: Yn y diwedd o'r daith, pan roddodd Rhian yr orffen, aeth Gareth real am fod golau wrth ochr y castell gyda hi.
En: At the end of the tour, when Rhian concluded, Gareth invited her to sit by the castle’s edge with him.

En: Yes, I’ll see you here tomorrow morning."

Cy: Ac felly, y bore wedyn, roeddent yn gadw ôl olewydd oneiforial gyda'i gilydd, sefyll y tîm tu hwnt dim nawr wrth adnewyddu eu edmygedd hir.
En: And so, the next morning, they marked the place with palm branches, standing together now as they renewed their long admiration.
