Sk: V jemnej vôni pečeného kačacieho mäsa sa niesol hrejivý pocit útulnosti.
En: The gentle aroma of roasted duck brought with it a warm sense of coziness.

Sk: Jeseň sa ukázala vonku na okne v podobe farebných listov, ktoré vo vetre tancovali.
En: Autumn revealed itself outside the window in the form of colorful leaves dancing in the wind.

Sk: Juraj sedel za stolom veľmi nervózny.
En: Juraj sat at the table, very nervous.

Sk: Dnes bola významná príležitosť – rodinná večera, príležitosť si urovnať vzťahy.
En: Today was a significant occasion—a family dinner, a chance to mend relationships.

Sk: Okolo stola sedeli všetci jeho blízki rozprávajúci sa a smejúci sa, no vzduch bol plný napätia.
En: Everyone close to him was gathered around the table, talking and laughing, but the air was full of tension.

Sk: "Zuzka, chcel som ti niečo povedať.

En: Maybe we could talk."

Sk: " Ostatní pri stole zmĺkli, záujem sa upieral na dvojicu.

Sk: ""Chcem sa ospravedlniť, ak som ti niekedy ublížil," precedil cez zuby s nádejou, že nájde odvahu na viac.

Sk: "Slová babky prenikli do zmýšľania oboch súrodencov.

Sk: " Obaja pocítili úľavu a zahriatie v srdciach, akoby ich rozhovor zrodený z hĺbky im dal novú príležitosť.
En: Both felt relieved and warmed in their hearts, as if their deep conversation had given them a new opportunity.

Sk: Hoci ešte nevyriešili všetky svoje problémy, vedeli, že majú podstatu – svoju rodinu.

Sk: Juraj a Zuzana si sľúbili, že toto nebude ich posledný rozhovor.
