Ro: Dimineața era caldă și soarele strălucea peste orașul București.
En: The morning was warm and the sun shone over the city of Bucharest.

Ro: Alexandru, un freelancer grafic în jur de treizeci de ani, își termina micul dejun în bucătăria sa mică dar luminată.
En: Alexandru, a graphic freelancer in his thirties, was finishing his breakfast in his small but bright kitchen.

Ro: Lucrul de acasă îi plăcea, dar simțea uneori că îi lipsește compania și stabilitatea unei vieți mai structurate.
En: He enjoyed working from home, but sometimes felt the lack of company and the stability of a more structured life.

Ro: Azi avea în plan să meargă la piață pentru a cumpăra fructe și legume proaspete pentru săptămână.

Ro: Cu un efort prea mare pentru momentul curent, Alexandru o salută: "Ioana, ce surpriză!

Ro: "Ioana se întoarse și zâmbea surprinsă, dar în același timp ușor tensionată.

Ro: Nu m-ai mai recunoscut?
En: Didn't you recognize me?

Ro: Ce mai faci?

Ro: "Au început să vorbească despre trecut și despre viața lor de acum, sentimentele vechi de neînțelegeri ieșind la lumină.
En: They began to talk about the past and their current lives, old feelings of misunderstandings coming to light.

Ro: Conversația era, pe alocuri, tensionată, dar și terapeutică.

Ro: Amândoi realizau că neînțelegerile din trecut au fost doar mici bubițe ce s-au infectat în timp din lipsa de comunicare.
En: They both realized that the misunderstandings from the past were just small wounds that had festered over time due to a lack of communication.

Ro: Când au terminat de vorbit, Alexandru simți o greutate ridicată de pe umeri.
En: When they finished talking, Alexandru felt a weight lifted from his shoulders.

Ro: "Mi-a fost dor de prietenia noastră," zise el sincer.
En: "I missed our friendship," he said sincerely.

Ro: Ioana era de acord și-i propuse să meargă împreună la alte standuri.

Ro: După ce au cumpărat tot ce aveau nevoie, Alexandru văzuse un coș mare de cireșe și decise să cumpere câteva în plus.

Ro: "Acestea sunt pentru tine," i le întinse el Ioanei.

Ro: "Ea zâmbi și acceptă cu bucurie.
En: She smiled and accepted with joy.

Ro: "Mulțumesc, Alexandru.
En: "Thank you, Alexandru.

Ro: E bine să știu că avem o a doua șansă.
En: It's good to know we have a second chance."

Ro: "În acea zi de vară, în aglomerata piață din București, Alexandru descoperise că deschiderea și confruntarea cu trecutul pot duce la noi conexiuni și la un sentiment de apartenență pe care și-l dorea.
En: On that summer day, in the crowded market in Bucharest, Alexandru discovered that opening up and confronting the past can lead to new connections and a sense of belonging he longed for.
