show moreThis week on the show I am joined by Rachelle Dene Poth, foreign language and STEAM teacher out of Pittsburgh, EdTech Consultant, author, and educator attorney. Sarah Thomas connected Rachelle and I, and after we chatted a bit, I knew she'd make a great guest on the show.
Rachelle and I talk about the process of writing and publishing a book, being driven by your passions, the many demands on our time and what we need to do about it, the need for teachers to break away from the feeling that the teacher is the only person doing the teaching in the room, and how great teachers make time for their students.
So, sit back and enjoy Episode 76 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Rachelle Dene Poth.
Rachelle, thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me. And I'm sorry again I lost this interview in the shuffle, but better late than never, right?
To connect with Rachelle, find her on twitter @rdene915, her website rdene915.com or email her at rdene915@gmail.com.
If you have comments or questions about the show, you can always connect with me on twitter, @BradShreffler, and now on Instagram @BradShreffler as well. I love to hear from you there. That's also a great place to connect if you'd like to be a guest on the show. Or, the Feedback Page on my website gives you options for feedback as well, which you can find at BradShreffler.com/Feedback.
Until next week, think about what you want to emulate in your favorite teacher.
