A wonderful contrast today. Adam Clarke describes verse seven this way, "They use the lowest insult, the basest abuse. They deal in sarcasm, ridicule, slander, and lies." David just calls it belching. While they are engaged in that behavior the Lord in verse eight is said to be laughing.
