Since President Joe Biden stepped aside last week and endorsed VP Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for President, the campaign has generated tremendous excitement and new energy. Humongous organizing calls have raised enormous amounts of money, and interest has spiked for races up and down the ballot.

When I spoke to Tara McGowan in April, we spoke about the need for pro-democracy media, since the mainstream corporate media is motivated by profit and not by informing the public of the stakes of this election.
