Should government leaders participate in Christmas in an official capacity? President Franklin Roosevelt (FDR) said quite a bit about Christmas in an address. Throwing that "separation of church and state" right out the window!
Oh... and then President John Kennedy (JFK) and President Ronald Reagan did too! So weird?! Not.
They even mentioned Jesus, acknowledging that His birth is the reason for Christmas. But not President Obama.
Since when did talking about peace on Earth, goodwill toward men become so controversial that it must be silenced?!
Parents take issue with "Charlie Brown Christmas" play dropping out the scripture portion of the show. After all, it's the answer to Charlie Brown's question throughout the whole show. So they took matters into their own hands...
