Nepotism is meant to help but seldomly does. Nepotism is something that isn't taken into consideration while you are doing it. At the moment you are looking to help but not thinking about the person's growth. It's as the saying in The Bible goes, "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him to fish and feed him for a lifetime". Life lessons are always the hardest lesson's learned. As parents we try to give our kids a better life than ours but don't take into consideration that hard times are needed for character development.

As is the case with Lori Laughlin and therefore many others that are embroiled in this college bribery scandal. I think as parents they missed the point of what they were doing. If your kids can't get into college, they shouldn't be there. Money does't change what they are. By missing that point they got themselves into a lot of trouble that money may not be able to get the out of.

Nepotism is meant to help but seldomly does. Instead of giving the answers we should show them how to find them on their own.
