Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd noson serennog yn Snowdonia National Park, lle roedd y sêr yn edrych fel llusernau bychain yn y nef.
En: There was a starry night in Snowdonia National Park, where the stars looked like tiny lanterns in the sky.

Cy: Ceri, Dylan, a Eleri oedd yn cerdded i fyny’r llwybr gyda'u lampau pen yn disgleirio yn y tywyllwch.
En: Ceri, Dylan, and Eleri were walking up the trail with their headlamps shining in the darkness.

Cy: Roedden nhw'n gwisgo yn eu pyjamas, gyda chlustogau wedi'u glynu wrth eu cefnau.
En: They were wearing their pajamas, with their ears stuck to their backs.

Cy: Roeddent wedi clywed am ddigwyddiad "Sleepwalkathon for Charity" a chymryd hynny'n llythyr, gan feddwl mai her deithio mewn pyjamas oedd o.
En: They had heard about the "Sleepwalkathon for Charity" event and took it literally, thinking it was a pajama-wearing challenge.

Cy: Wrth gerdded drwy goedwig tew, roedden nhw'n siarad a chwerthin, yn llwyr anghofio am yr oerni.
En: As they walked through the dense forest, they talked and laughed, completely forgetting about the cold.

Cy: Yn eu meddwl hwy, roedd mynd i fyny mynydd yn eu pyjamas yn antur epig, rhyw math o sialens hwyliog.
En: In their minds, going up a mountain in their pajamas was an epic adventure, some kind of playful challenge.

Cy: Ond wrth i'r noson fynd yn ddyfnach a'r awyr yn mynd yn oerach, dechreuodd amheuon serennu ym meddyliau Ceri, Dylan, a Eleri.
En: But as the night deepened and the air grew colder, doubts began to creep into Ceri, Dylan, and Eleri's minds.

Cy: “Ydych chi'n siŵr ein bod ni wedi deall y poster yn gywir?
En: “Are you sure we understood the poster correctly?"

Cy: " gofynnodd Eleri, gan dynnu ei siaced o gwmpas hi ychydig yn dynnach.
En: asked Eleri, pulling her jacket tighter around her.

Cy: Ceri, sydd bob amser yn llawn optimistiaeth, atebodd gyda gwên.
En: Ceri, who was always full of optimism, answered with a smile.

Cy: “Dim ots!
En: “No matter!

Cy: Bydd hi'n stori wych i adrodd!
En: It will be a great story to tell!"

Cy: "Dylan, a oedd â'i ben yn wallgof am gapiau a llethrau, ychwanegodd, “A dyna'r mwyaf pwysig, cael hwyl a gwneud rhywbeth da dros eraill!
En: Dylan, who was a bit eccentric with his hats and scarves, added, “And most importantly, having fun and doing something good for others!"

Cy: ”Ond nid oedd y tri yn sylweddoli bod yr antur yn dod yn fwy difrifol gyda phob cam.
En: But the three didn't realize that the adventure was becoming more serious with each step.

Cy: Roedd y gwynt yn chwythu'n gryfach, a’r llwybr yn mynd yn fwy serth a chreigiog.
En: The wind was blowing stronger, and the trail was getting steeper and rockier.

Cy: Cyrraedd yr uchelfannau oedd eu nod, ond roedden nhw’n dechrau teimlo bod rywbeth yn mynd o chwith.
En: They reached the plateaus they aimed for, but they began to feel that something was going wrong.

Cy: Ar y cyd, penderfynon nhw gymryd seibiant a chael llyged bach.
En: Together, they decided to take a break and have a little rest.

Cy: Wrth eistedd ar y graig, gwelsant lusern arall yn dod tuag atyn nhw.
En: As they sat on the rock, they saw another lantern coming towards them.

Cy: Roedd dynes gyda chôt fawr gynnes a het gwlân yn dod i lawr y llwybr.
En: There was a woman with a big warm coat and a woolen hat coming down the trail.

Cy: “Beth ydych chi'n ei wneud yma yn y pyjamas?
En: “What on earth are you doing here in pajamas?"

Cy: " gofynnodd hi gyda syndod mewn ei llais.
En: she asked in surprise.

Cy: Esboniodd Ceri, “Da ni yma ar gyfer Sleepwalkathon!
En: Ceri explained, “We're here for the Sleepwalkathon!"

Cy: ”Chwerthin wnaeth y ddynes.
En: The woman laughed.

Cy: “O na, mae hwnna yn digwydd yn y gwastadeddau, lle mae pobl yn cerdded milltir neu ddwy a chodi arian!
En: “Oh dear, that happens in the suburbs, where people walk a mile or two and raise money!

Cy: Does neb yn meddwl y dylech fynd i fyny mynydd go iawn yn eich pyjamas!
En: No one thinks you should go up a real mountain in your pajamas!"

Cy: "Roedd wynebau Ceri, Dylan, a Eleri yn troi'n goch gyda chywilydd.
En: The faces of Ceri, Dylan, and Eleri turned red with embarrassment.

Cy: Ond yn hytrach na thaflu eu hunain i ofid, chwerthin aethon nhw hefyd.
En: But instead of throwing themselves into worry, they laughed as well.

Cy: Gyda chyngor y ddynes garedig, a oedd yn benderfynol y byddai'n cerdded gyda nhw yn ôl i'r pentref, trefnon nhw ddod yn ôl y bore wedyn â'r dillad cywir.
En: With the kind woman's advice, who was determined to walk back to the village with them, they decided to come back in the morning with the proper clothes.

Cy: A daethon nhw'n ôl, gan godi arian llawer mwy nag oeddent wedi dychmygu, ac yn bwysicach, â stori anhygoel am eu noson o antur.
En: And they returned, raising much more money than they had imagined, and, more importantly, with an incredible story about their adventurous night.

Cy: Cerddon nhw gyda'i gilydd yn ôl i lawr y mynydd, gan adael y sêr tu ôl iddynt, a chan gael gwers bwysig: hyd yn oed y camgymeriadau mwyaf doniol all fod yn gyfle i godi arian, gwneud ffrindiau newydd, a chreu atgofion na fyddant byth yn eu hanghofio.
En: They walked back down the mountain together, leaving the stars behind them, and learning an important lesson: even the most humorous mistakes can be an opportunity to raise money, make new friends, and create memories they will never forget.
