Sherry Hill is the proud mother of Marquise Hill. She graduated with an Art Education degree from
Alabama A & M, during which time she belonged to the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
She attended Southern University (SUNO) and the New Orleans Academy of Fine Art. She has ten years of education experience to her credit, in addition to sixteen years working with the federal government. One of her proudest achievements is the 5 years she worked in a juvenile facility, during which she used the story of her son's life as an example to help mentor troubled youth. Ms. Hill is a member of Toastmasters International.
Her experience as a mother, as well as
a juvenile counselor III at the New Orleans Police Department, has taught her the value of spending quality time with one's children to guide them on the right path and find themselves.
While writing this book, Ms. Hill was interviewed by the New York Times (featured article), Boston Globe, Boston Herald, HBO's Inside the NFL, the NFL Network, Channel 26, Channel 4, Times Picayune, Baton Rouge Advocate, Standard Times, Chicago Times and TV ONE, The author is a member in good standing of the PFPMA (Professional Football Players Mothers' Association). Marquise Hill was inducted in the Hall of Fame during a ceremony held in his honor at De La Salle High School on March 29, 2008.
Ms Hill was recently interviewed by "Samantha Beaulieu Show" on WBOK AM 12.30 and Hal Clarke "Sunday Morning Journal" WYLD FM 98.5.
