Calvin and Brandon are back for another episode of the Sharp Edges Podcast. This week’s episode features the only college football game of the weekend. The two also talk some UFC 245 action this Saturday in a stacked card. After some NFL action, Calvin talks a little college basketball action for a couple of late Friday night games. It’s the only game of the college football weekend, the classic Army vs Navy game. Army has had a down season and Navy has had one of their better seasons in recent years. Army has won the last three but can they pull the upset this season? The spread sits around 10.5 and a total of around 40.5. Can Army cover and will this game go over or under with these two run-heavy offenses?

Brandon is excited for a big UFC 245 card this weekend and he should be. This is one of the most stacked UFC cards from top to bottom in years. Brandon will be out at the fight out there in Las Vegas. After he and Calvin discuss some of the biggest fights of the card (including three title fights!) Brandon gives a quick rundown of whom he thinks wins each fight of the event.

Over in the NFL Calvin is looking to bounce back from a 50-50 week with a big week. The first game he likes is in the crucial AFC South matchup between the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans. Will the Titans stay hot or will the Texans rebound after a rough week? The Vikings are a small favorite against an LA Chargers team that is having a down season. Is this a classic Vegas trap game? The Buffalo Bills take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that could go a long way in determining an AFC Wild Card spot. Can Pittsburgh continue winning with “Duck” Hodges? Calvin gives his favorite bet of the weekend in the Seattle/Carolina game and even adds in a total pick as well.

Closing out the episode, Calvin gives two quick college basketball picks for Friday night. Early NCAAB lines for Saturday weren’t out in time but Calvin will have his Saturday formula picks available early Saturday afternoon for a big day of college basketball.
