Nacho Mateo was born and grew up in Madrid. His dad was a lawyer and this ignited his passion for the same career. He studied law at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and subsequently moved to Japan where he fell in love with the culture and did his MBA. In this episode, Nacho and Joe talk about his upbringing and his adventures in Japan, comparing the law system in Japan to the one in Spain. Nacho’s circumstances changed when he returned to Madrid to renew his Japanese visa, and he received an offer that he couldn't refuse, to work at Spain Startup.
