Yoga Nidra invites you to choose harmony in your inner world and the more you practice… the stronger your capacity to witness becomes. In this 45 minute Nidra, you will be asked to declare a sankalpa/heartfelt desire/ wish/ prayer that will help guide you to a more intentional lifestyle.
This practice may seem simple but there will be uncomfortable moments. It is in those moment that you grow.
//Prepare for Yoga Nidra with pillows, blankets, blosters, props and possibly an eye pillow. Take rest on your couch, recliner or yoga mat and make yourself as comfortable as possible. If you are practicing for the purposes of sleep, rest in your bed. This guided sleep meditation takes you through a restorative body scan connecting with your breath, your emotions, your creative ability, and ultimately your whole self. Yogic sleep invites you to move from the activated state of stress and anxiety to a state of rest, digest and restoration; a calming of the nervous system.
