Hey there, beachgoers! Time to catch some waves with your New York surf zone forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service. Let's dive in and see what the ocean has in store for us.

Starting off with Kings (Brooklyn), remember to keep an eye out for high rip currents today and tomorrow, with surf heights at 4 to 5 feet. The UV index is moderate, so grab that sunscreen. Expect partly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70s. The winds will be coming in from the north at 10 to 15 mph.

Moving to Southern Queens, a similar story with high rip currents through Friday evening. Surf heights around 4 to 5 feet, a slight chance of showers, and temperatures in the upper 70s. The winds will be blowing in from the north at about 15 mph.

And don't forget about Southern Nassau, where rip currents are also high until Friday evening. Surf heights ranging from 4 to 5 feet, mostly cloudy skies, and a chance of showers. Temperatures in the mid 70s with northeast winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Heading over to Southwestern Suffolk, yep, you guessed it - high rip currents sticking around through Friday evening. Surf heights of 4 to 5 feet, mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, and temperatures in the mid 70s. Northeast winds at 15 mph.

Last but not least, Southeastern Suffolk, high rip current risks persist until Friday evening. Surf heights at 4 to 5 feet, mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers, and temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds coming in from the northeast at 15 mph.

Remember, when you hit the surf, always swim near a lifeguard, watch out for those rip currents, and surf safely. Stay tuned for some sunnier days ahead, and keep those flotation devices handy. Catch you out on the waves, surfers!
