Today at the Kings (Brooklyn) beaches like Coney Island Beach and Manhattan Beach, we're looking at a moderate risk of rip currents with surf heights around 2 feet. The UV index is very high, so don't forget that sunscreen! The surf temperature is in the upper 60s, and the weather will be mostly cloudy with a chance of patchy fog. High temperatures are expected to hit the mid 70s with winds starting from the south around 5 mph and picking up to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Tomorrow, the surf height will increase to around 4 feet with a moderate risk of rip currents. Thunderstorms are possible with showers in the forecast. The high will be in the upper 70s with south winds around 10 mph.

In Southwestern Suffolk with beaches like Gilgo State Park and Robert Moses State Park, a moderate risk of rip currents is forecasted with surf heights around 2 feet today. The UV index remains high, so stay protected. Highs will be in the lower 70s with south winds.

Lastly, in Southeastern Suffolk at beaches like Smith Point and Cupsogue Beach, expect a moderate risk of rip currents today with surf heights around 2 feet. The weather will be mostly cloudy with areas of fog and high temperatures in the lower 70s.
