Ahoy, surfers and beachgoers! Time to catch the wave with your latest surf zone forecast straight from the National Weather Service Mobile, AL.

Let's dive in and see what's on the horizon for the Mobile Coastal and Baldwin Coastal areas, including beautiful spots like Dauphin Island, Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach.

Today, we're looking at a low rip current risk, with surf heights around a chill 1 foot. The UV index is off the charts high, so make sure to slap on that sunscreen before hitting the waves. Water temperature is cozy in the mid-80s, and the weather couldn't be sunnier with highs in the mid-80s. Winds starting from the north at a lazy 5 mph but switching it up to southeast in the afternoon.

Tonight, keep an eye out for some low-risk rip currents and 1-foot waves. Expect mostly clear skies with lows in the mid-70s. Winds will be whispering from the south at 5 mph, then shifting to northeast after midnight.

Tomorrow, the rip current risk picks up to moderate with surf heights ranging from 1 to 2 feet. The weather will be partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms to keep things exciting. Highs in the upper 80s with gentle northeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.

In the extended forecast, get ready for some action! Wednesday night through Friday night is going to be a rollercoaster of high rip current risks and surf heights varying from 3 to 7 feet. Shower and thunderstorm alerts on repeat, so be prepared for some wet and wild moments. Temperatures staying warm in the lower to mid-80s with a mix of cloudy and clear skies. Just hold onto your boards and ride that wave!

Keep checking those tides, and remember, safety first when hitting the beach. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
