Ro: Andrei mergea spre Castelul Bran.
En: Andrei was walking towards Bran Castle.

Ro: Era o noapte de toamnă, friguroasă și întunecată.
En: It was a cold and dark autumn night.

Ro: Frunzele uscate trosneau sub bocancii lui.
En: Dry leaves crunched under his boots.

Ro: Lângă castel, vântul suiera printre copaci.
En: Near the castle, the wind was howling through the trees.

Ro: Localnicii i-au spus lui Andrei de sunetele ciudate și lumini abia zărite care apăreau doar noaptea.
En: The locals had told Andrei about the strange sounds and barely visible lights that appeared only at night.

Ro: Nimeni nu avea curaj să intre în castel, dar Andrei era hotărât să afle adevărul.
