Cs: Každou noc, přesně o půlnoci, se nad Karlovým mostem v Praze rozezněla záhadná melodie houslí.
En: Every night, exactly at midnight, a mysterious violin melody would echo over the Charles Bridge in Prague.

Cs: Nikdo nikdy neviděl hudebníka, ale melodie byla kouzelná.
En: No one had ever seen the musician, but the melody was enchanting.

Cs: Jana žila blízko Karlova mostu.

Cs: Každý večer slyšela housle.
