Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail says he will neither confirm nor deny the EgyptAir crash was an act of terrorism. USA’s Russ Jones talked with a Middle East expert and has this report.

There may have been a catastrophic event on the EgyptAir flight that disappeared en route from Paris to Cairo.

Retired Lt. Col. Sargis Sangari of the Near East Center for Strategic Engagement advises the Assyrian Army--and says because of changes in the region, terrorism can’t be ruled out.

"We've seen a lot of ISIS assets moving to the gulf states," said Sangari. "You may see more activity in the Lybian area - in the gulf areas that will have direct influence and effects on Egypt also."

The U.S. Navy is taking part in a massive search effort in the Mediterranean Sea.
