The CDC is worried about two things this winter season: Fighting a flu pandemic, while at the same time trying to stop nightmare bacteria (superbugs). Last year, an estimated 80,000 Americans died from flu and each year more than 23,000 Americans die from antibiotic-resistant germs (superbugs). While modern medicine continues to search for solutions through vaccination and immunobiotics, could the answer be found in medieval medicine?

Sherry Torkos, a holistic pharmacist and author of more than a dozen books on natural health and healing says the medical discoveries that came out of the Middle Ages during the bubonic plague “Black Death,” leprosy and Saint Anthony’s fire (ergotism) cannot be underestimated and will tell your audience about three liquid remedies from the Middle Ages that are still fighting today’s toughest cases of flu, stomach aches, pains and wounds (talking points include: colloidal silver, mint, and turmeric). She will also answer your questions on ways to stop the superbug crisis and show how to limit the spread of this nightmare bacteria. Sherry stops by LNH to speak with Mark Alyn.
