As Christians we enjoy the blessings of knowing and being known and loved by God. The ultimate blessing of course is our eternal home with God through Jesus Christ. But Jesus also said that there would be a church here on Earth-His very body and that we would all be connected- we would be a family. For the video version please go to: https://youtu.be/P9RHz6PLJ0o
God is relational, and we are thankful for our relationship with God. But we are also meant to have relationship with one another. We are meant to love each other just like Jesus loves us. We are blessed to be a blessing. Blessing is defined as
a request by a priest for God to take care of a particular person or a group of people, or God's act of doing this:
Many times, God’s act of doing this is to use the Body of Christ to bless each other, that’s you and I. And sometimes the act of caring for someone is simply to offer encouragement and support.
So to that end, and particularly in the circumstances we find ourselves today, some of the members of Melbourne Inclusive Church want to offer various words of encouragement and various blessings to each of you. Young or old or somewhere in between we want to send out our love with the blessing of the dance, of acceptance, of laughter and joy. Blessings of progress, of family and community. Blessings of music and prayer and most importantly the blessing of the Lord. God bless you all.
Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender or culture.
