Hey there! Here's the scoop on what's happening out on the waters of East Central Florida. The high-pressure ridge is just hanging out near Central Florida, keeping things interesting through the weekend.

For those chilling around Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet, expect light south to southeast winds that kick up to around 10 to 15 knots from the east-southeast along the coast in the afternoons. Keep an eye out for isolated to scattered showers and lightning storms making a guest appearance.

In the Gulf Stream, no hazards to worry about, just the usual flow near Ponce Inlet, Port Canaveral, Sebastian Inlet, Fort Pierce Inlet, and Saint Lucie Inlet.

Now, closer to land like around Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, we're talking south winds shifting to southeasterly around 10 to 15 knots later, with seas around 2 to 3 feet. You might see a sprinkle or two lingering around in the morning and afternoon, so keep that umbrella handy.

As we move further out, from Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet, and Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet, similar story with winds of 5 to 10 knots, and seas around 2 to 3 feet. Showers and thunderstorms may swing by, but nothing too dramatic.

And for those sailing around Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 20-60 nm, and Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 20-60 nm, winds are around 10 to 15 knots with seas at 3 feet. Showers and thunderstorms could pop up in the evening and overnight, keeping things interesting.

Remember, when in doubt, always watch out for those thunderstorms for any sudden changes in winds and waves!
