So, here's the lowdown for today, Saturday, July 13th, 2024. We've got a high pressure ridge hanging out over our local Atlantic waters, bringing us some light southeast winds that might pick up to around 10-15 miles per hour near the coast in the afternoons. Keep an eye out for widely scattered showers and lightning storms, especially during the overnight and morning hours.

Gulf Stream is looking pretty chilled out today with no hazards to worry about, which is nice. The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream varies but is generally a few nautical miles to the east of Ponce Inlet, Port Canaveral, Sebastian Inlet, Fort Pierce Inlet, and Saint Lucie Inlet.

For the Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line area within 0-20 nautical miles: Today, expect south winds shifting to southeast at 5-10 miles per hour, seas around 2-3 feet, and a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
