Today, we've got a high rip current risk in effect through late tonight, so please be cautious out there. The surf height is hitting 3 to 4 feet, the UV index is very high, and the water temperature is in the lower 80s. It's looking like a sunny day with a high temperature in the upper 80s. Winds are starting out from the southwest at around 5 miles per hour but will shift to southeast in the afternoon.
Don't miss the tides! In Daytona Beach, we've got a high tide around 7:11 AM and a low tide at 1:19 PM. Over in Port Canaveral, high tide is at 6:52 AM and low tide at 12:56 PM. And for all you early birds, sunrise is at 6:54 AM, with sunset at 8:02 PM.
Now, looking ahead to Monday, the rip current risk remains high with surf heights between 2 to 4 feet. The weather will be mostly sunny until 3 PM, then partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s with southwest winds at around 10 miles per hour.
