Maverick City Music is a contemporary Worship Music collective and record label founded by Tony Brown and Jonathan Jay originating from Atlanta.

On May 20, 2022, Maverick City Music Kirk Franklin announced that they would release a collective album titled Kingdom Book One on June 17, 2022.

From Kingdom Book One Deluxe Album, there’s a new single titled “The Name” Out Now. It’s a beautiful gospel song. The song makes me think of Genesis 4:26. And to Seth, to him also there was born a son, and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.
