Lt: Vilniaus senamiestyje, tarp senų plytų ir švelniai krykštaujančių grindinio akmenų, buvo maža, jauki restoranėlis, kuris lankytojus viliojo savo tradiciniais lietuviškais patiekalais.
En: In the old town of Vilnius, amid the old bricks and gently murmuring cobblestones, there was a small, cozy restaurant that enticed visitors with its traditional Lithuanian dishes.

Lt: Būtent čia, vieną šiltą pavasario vakarą, Mantas su draugais Gabija ir Luku nusprendė atiduoti duoklę Lietuvos virtuvei.
En: It was here, on a warm spring evening, that Mantas and his friends Gabija and Lukas decided to pay tribute to Lithuanian cuisine.

Lt: Mantas buvo veržlus jaunuolis, trokštantis naujų patirčių.

Lt: Ši vakarienė Mantui turėjo tapti išskirtine – jis buvo nusprendęs ragauti tikrą lietuvišką cepeliną, bet šį patiekalą vardinti jis tebuvo girdėjęs.
En: This dinner was supposed to be special for Mantas – he had decided to taste a genuine Lithuanian cepelinai, a dish he had only heard of.

Lt: Jis įsivaizdavo, kad cepelinai yra įdomios formos ir tikėjosi, kad skonis pranoks lūkesčius.
En: He imagined cepelinai to have an interesting shape and hoped that the taste would exceed his expectations.

Lt: Gabija ir Lukas žinojo, kaip tokie patiekalai atrodo ir skonis jiems nebuvo svetimas, tačiau Mantui viskas dar tebeslėpėsi paslaptyse.

Lt: Priešais baltai nuserviruotą stalą sėdėdamas, Mantas apsidairė, išdidžiai pasitaisė kaklaraištį ir, kai padavėjas priėjo, pasiryžo išbandyti savo lietuvišką tarimą.
En: Sitting in front of the neatly set table, Mantas looked around, proudly adjusted his tie, and when the waiter approached, he decided to test out his Lithuanian pronunciation.

Lt: "Prašysiu vieną... cezario salotas!" ištarė jis.
En: "I'll have the... Caesar salad!" he uttered.

Lt: Įtampa virš stalo pakilo, kadangi Gabija ir Lukas jau buvo pasiruošę savo cepelinams, tačiau nenorėjo įsikišti į Manto ryžtą.
En: The tension around the table rose, as Gabija and Lukas were already prepared for their cepelinai but didn’t want to interfere with Mantas's determination.

Lt: Padavėjas, nustebo, o paskui nebegalėjo sulaikyti šypsenos ir švelniai sugyvendamas sakė: "Galbūt turėjote omeny 'cepelinus', ponas?"
En: The waiter was surprised, and then couldn't hold back a smile and gently said, "Perhaps you meant 'cepeliniai', sir?"

Lt: Tuo metu kiti restorano svečiai negalėjo atlaikyti ir pradėjo švelniai juoktis, o Mikalojaus gatvės žvakių šviesoje Mantas tarsi akmens statula stingo, suprasdamas, kokią klaidą padarė.
En: At that moment, the other restaurant guests couldn't resist and began to laugh softly, while in the glow of the Mikalojus Street lamps, Mantas stood stiff as a stone statue, realizing his mistake.

Lt: Tačiau Gabija ir Lukas, pažindami Manto humoro jausmą ir mėgdami savo draugą, perėmė iniciatyvą ir kartu su juo pradėjo juoktis iš visos širdies.
En: However, knowing Mantas's sense of humor and liking their friend, Gabija and Lukas took the lead and started laughing heartily with him.

Lt: Juokas turtino jų vakarą, ir visai netrukus kiti klientai bei padavėjas prisijungė prie jų draugystės šurmulio.
En: Laughter enriched their evening, and soon other customers and the waiter joined in the camaraderie.

Lt: Mantas su šypsena priėmė cepelinus ir, nors pradžia kažkiek sujaukė, ragausdamas pirmą kąsnį jis suprato – tai buvo verta nesusipratimo.
En: With a smile, Mantas accepted the cepelinai and, although the beginning was a bit confusing, after tasting the first bite, he realized – it was worth the misunderstanding.

Lt: Cepelinai buvo nepriekaištingi, ir kiekvienas kąsnis leido jam patirti tikrą lietuviškos virtuvės šedevrą.
En: The cepelinai were flawless, and each bite allowed him to experience a true masterpiece of Lithuanian cuisine.

Lt: Visi vakaro pabaigoje išsiskirstė su širdyse įsirašytais linksmais prisiminimais, o Mantas įgijo dar vieną istoriją, kurią pasakos savo vaikams.
En: At the end of the evening, everyone departed with cheerful memories, and Mantas gained another story to tell his children.

Lt: Jis suprato: ne visos klaidos yra negeros, kartais jos atveda prie pačių šilčiausių ir nepamirštamiausių akimirkų.
