BE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE AND SHARE!!!!
LA is having yet another special election for City Council in Council District 12. The citizens of that district will have the opportunity to send a new representative to LA City Hall to replace the seat that was vacated by Mitchell Englander. Tonight on #theUSApodcast we will be speaking with Loraine Lundquist, a candidate who is running for Los Angeles City Council in Council District 12 for the upcoming election on June 4. Loraine is scientist; educator, mom and community advocate who wants to bring serious reform to her district from city hall. Tonight we will speak with her about her upcoming race, the issues facing her district and the city of Los Angeles as a whole.
Plus we will be speaking with Matt Klink with Klink Campaigns & No on Measure EE. Measure EE is a measure that will be coming up on the ballot for Los Angeles County this June 4. The Measure claims that if passed, it will raise property taxes to provide much needed funding for LA public schools. Matt and his organization believe differently however. Tonight we will be asking him why he thinks voters should vote no on EE.
Plus we take about the issues many farmers in The United States are facing due to trade wars and climate change!! Will farmers in the US be able to hang on with such dire issues facing them?
