Our guests, Larry Walker of Balford, Ian Wristbridge of Magnar, Shaunak Roy of Yellowdig and James Wang of Asian Bank open up to talk about childhood experience. Larry was fortunate to have great experiences with his home life and that has given him a desire to mentor others. Ian started working at age 8 in his dad's business, gaining valuable skills that helped him when starting Magnar. Shaunak grew up in India and while he was busy in school, he bored with being in the classroom. He has taken that experience to develop a platform that cultivates creative learning opportunities. James blended his experience growing up both in Taiwan and Philadelphia and opened a bank that caters to the immigrant and minority people of Philadelphia.
