Appalachia is rife with all sorts of folklore, legends, and stories of the paranormal, cryptids, and unexplained experiences. They are ancient mountains, called home by many tribes and thankfully, they can put a name to the smattering of odd things that happen in the primordial hills. If you were hiking while holding onto a trekking pole, took a spill, dropping it, and noticed that your bright red obvious walking stick had now vanished; if you then heard laughter around you in the woods, unable to determine where its coming from; and if you saw a small humanoid, then the Cherokee would tell you that you saw the Yunwi Tsunsdi, the Cherokee Little People. Plus we have a couple of first hand encounters from Parker as well as our first ever guest!

Want to hear some stories of cryptids, folklore, or the unexplained? Well you are in the right place! Grab a cold one and join us every Monday for a new legend! Each week outdoor television producer Zac Wohlstein and his brother, wildlife biologist Parker Wohlstein dive into an unknown tale.
