Teacher leaders are teachers who aspire to stretch beyond their classrooms to engage in leadership roles that take many shapes and forms, both “informal” and “formal”. When educators aspire to be in formal leadership, they go through many hurdles to achieve positions such as consultant or administrator, but what happens when they get there?
