Pl: Jacek stał na moście prowadzącym do Zamku Wawelskiego.
En: Jacek stood on the bridge leading to Wawel Castle.

Pl: Był słoneczny dzień, a on czuł dreszcz emocji.
En: It was a sunny day, and he felt a thrill of excitement.

Pl: Przewodnik o imieniu Anna zaczęła opowiadać historie o polskich królach.
En: A guide named Anna began telling stories about the Polish kings.

Pl: "Ten zamek," powiedziała, "jest pełen legend."
En: "This castle," she said, "is full of legends."

Pl: Przeszli obok dużych drzwi i weszli do wielkiej sali.
En: They walked past large doors and entered a great hall.

Pl: Anna opowiedziała o królu Władysławie Łokietku.
En: Anna talked about King Władysław the Elbow-high.

Pl: "Władysław ukrywał się tu przed wrogami," mówiła Anna.
En: "Władysław hid here from his enemies," Anna said.

Pl: "Jego oddani przyjaciele przynosili mu jedzenie i picie."

Pl: "Zostawiła skarby na pomoc ubogim."
En: "She left treasures to help the poor."

Pl: Przeszli do następnej komnaty.
En: They moved to the next chamber.

Pl: "W tej sali odbywały się uczty," mówiła Anna.
En: "Feasts were held in this hall," Anna said.

Pl: "Król i królowa siedzieli tu z gośćmi."
En: "The king and queen sat here with guests."

Pl: Jacek wyobrażał sobie muzykę i śmiech w sali.
En: Jacek imagined the music and laughter in the hall.

Pl: "To było piękne życie," pomyślał.
En: "It was a beautiful life," he thought.

Pl: Potem weszli do Kaplicy Zygmuntowskiej.
En: Then they entered the Sigismund Chapel.

Pl: "Tu jest serce Krakowa," powiedziała Anna.
En: "This is the heart of Krakow," Anna said.

Pl: "Dzwon Zygmunta dzwoni w ważnych chwilach."
En: "The Sigismund Bell rings on important occasions."

Pl: Jacek patrzył na dzwon z podziwem.

Pl: "To jest niesamowite," powiedział.
En: "This is amazing," he said.

Pl: Anna zaprowadziła grupę na dziedziniec.
En: Anna led the group to the courtyard.

Pl: "W dawnych czasach rycerze trenowali tu do walki," mówiła.
En: "In ancient times, knights trained here for battle," she said.
