show moreThe Living Full Out Show encourages you to be authentic. Perhaps you work in an environment that feels judgmental, and so you are uncomfortable showing up as you full self. Maybe being a wallflower makes you feel safe, but you wonder if you’re missing out on life-changing moments. When you choose to stand out from the crowd, you give others the opportunity to see your light shine and invite positive experiences into your world.
Our first caller, Darla, wants to know how she can advance in her workplace as one of the only women. Nancy suggests that she look at the communication style of the people in leadership roles around her, and to stand out by understanding their process. Nancy also suggests becoming someone the company can’t live without, and to be willing to confidently ask for more or even walk away when necessary. Listen in to hear how you can recognize your worth and shine with your fullest potential.
Our inspirational guest, Kevin Roth, was confronted with one year left to live, and used the news as motivation to find his purpose. Born with a strong inner voice and musical talent, Kevin was offered a record deal at 13 years old. He went on to be regarded as one of the most innovative mountain dulcimer players in the 70s, released 50 studio albums, and became a millionaire by the age of 35. Still, Kevin never felt like he belonged in this world, and couldn’t find fulfillment in his fame and fortune. Pressure increased as the music industry changed and his father passed away. After moving in with his sister, Kevin faced another major set back: a stage 3 melanoma diagnosis. He had to immediately decide what type of life he wished for himself, and gain the confidence he needed to achieve this dream. Tune in to hear how Kevin followed his instincts and found his purpose.
Our second caller, Sarah, wants to accept her failures without being so hard on herself. She’s 25 years old, but feels anxiety in comparison to the successes of others. Nancy says that most of the people who think they have it all at 25 will have their bumps and bruises. She suggests that Sarah see her journey as greatness building, and to seek challenges that stretch her. Listen in to hear how you can be patient with yourself on the path towards self fulfillment.
Maybe you feel as if you are constantly compared to others, and so being yourself feels out of the question. Perhaps you suffered a major setback, and you need to rekindle the confidence to follow your inner compass. Remember that your life is your own, and that you can choose to be authentic as you live full out.
