Nb: Anna og Lars var i Bergen.
En: Anna and Lars were in Bergen.

Nb: De var gode venner.
En: They were good friends.

Nb: De holdte hænder og lo.
En: They held hands and laughed.

Nb: Anna var kjærlig, Lars var munter.
En: Anna was loving, Lars was cheerful.

Nb: De elsket å leke sammen.
En: They loved playing together.

Nb: En dag, hoppet Lars raskt for å fange en fisk i vannet.
En: One day, Lars quickly jumped to catch a fish in the water.

Nb: Han gikk forsiktig for ikke å skli på den glatte isen.
En: He walked cautiously to avoid slipping on the slippery ice.

Nb: Men plutselig, glir Anna på isen rett bak Lars.
