La banda del formaggio è la storia di un editore che un giorno sull’autobus prova affetto per il suo cuore che batte, e gli verrebbe da ricominciare. È la storia di un libraio che il delinquente avrebbe voluto farlo come Raskol’nikov, o come il conte di Montecristo, e che ha lasciato a suo nipote, che ancora non c’è, una filastrocca che Ermanno impara a memoria, per lasciarla anche al suo, di nipote, che chissà se mai ci sarà.
