Pl: Kiedy słońce wstało nad Krakowem, Anna i Krzysztof już byli na nogach.
En: When the sun rose over Krakow, Anna and Krzysztof were already up.

Pl: Był to dzień wielkiego święta na Rynku Głównym.
En: It was the day of the grand celebration at the Main Market Square.

Pl: Tradycyjny festiwal zbliżał się wielkimi krokami.
En: The traditional festival was quickly approaching.

Pl: Anna stała przed lustrem, próbując dopasować halkę do kolorowego stroju ludowego.
En: Anna stood in front of the mirror, trying to match a petticoat to her colorful folk costume.

Pl: Krzysztof sprawdzał listę zadań.

En: Go in that direction," she pointed.

Pl: Chłopiec podziękował i pobiegł w stronę, którą wskazała Anna.
En: The boy thanked her and ran off in the direction Anna had indicated.

Pl: Krzysztof zauważył, że zbliża się burmistrz miasta, aby oficjalnie otworzyć festiwal.
En: Krzysztof noticed the city mayor approaching to officially open the festival.

Pl: Tłum ludzi zebrał się wokół sceny, czekając na rozpoczęcie uroczystości.
