Story Transcript:

Ro: În inima Bucureștiului, acolo unde clădirile vechi îmbrățișează străzile pavate cu piatră, se află un loc plin de viață și culoare: Centrul Vechi.
En: In the heart of Bucharest, where old buildings embrace the cobblestone streets, stands a lively and colorful place: the Old Town.

Ro: Într-o zi însorită de primăvară, trei prieteni - Andrei, Mihai și Elena - au decis să exploreze acest labirint urban plin de istorie și mister.
En: On a sunny spring day, three friends - Andrei, Mihai, and Elena - decided to explore this urban labyrinth full of history and mystery.

Ro: Cum umblau ei veseli, râzând și glumind, ajunseră în fața unui om-statue ce părea rupt din alte timpuri.
En: As they walked cheerfully, laughing and joking, they came across a statue-like man that seemed to be from a different time.

Ro: Era îmbrăcat în haine de cavaler, nemiscat și cu o privire fixă ce tăia mulțimea.
En: He was dressed in knight's clothing, unmoving and with a piercing stare that cut through the crowd.

Ro: Andrei, fără să stea pe gânduri, se duse direct la statuie, impresionat de cât de realistă părea.
En: Andrei, without hesitation, went straight to the statue, impressed by how realistic it looked.

Ro: "Salut, domnule cavaler!
En: "Hello, Mr. Knight!

Ro: Ce mai faci astăzi?
En: How are you today?"

Ro: " întrebă Andrei, așteptând un răspuns.
En: Andrei asked, expecting a response.

Ro: Mihai și Elena se opriră și ei, gata să vadă cum omul-statue va reacționa la conversația inițiată de Andrei.
En: Mihai and Elena also stopped, ready to see how the statue-man would react to Andrei's initiated conversation.

Ro: Doar că statuia rămână tăcută, fără să clipească ori să se miște.
En: But the statue remained silent, without blinking or moving.

Ro: Andrei, încă necunoscut cu tradițiile străzii, îi pusese mâna pe umăr și încerca iar să-i atragă atenția.
En: Andrei, unfamiliar with street traditions, put his hand on the man's shoulder and tried to get his attention.

Ro: "Hei, prietene, nu vrei să vorbești?
En: "Hey, buddy, don't you want to talk?"

Ro: " insistă el, cu un zâmbet larg pe față.
En: he insisted, with a wide smile on his face.

Ro: Oamenii din jur începuseră să râdă și să își scoată telefoanele, filmand scena care se desfășura sub ochii lor amuzați.
En: The onlookers started to laugh and take out their phones, recording the amusing scene unfolding before their entertained eyes.

Ro: Mihai și Elena realizaseră între timp că Andrei confundase artistul stradal cu o adevărată statuie și încercau acum să-și țină râsul în frâu, dar fără prea mare succes.
En: In the meantime, Mihai and Elena realized that Andrei had mistaken the street artist for a real statue and were trying hard to contain their laughter, with limited success.

Ro: La un moment dat, omul-statue clătină subtil capul și făcu un pas înainte, alegând să rupă tăcerea scenică.
En: At one point, the statue subtly shook his head and took a step forward, choosing to break the silent act.

Ro: Andrei sări înapoi, surprins de mișcare, iar râsetele celor din stradă izbucniră și mai tare.
En: Andrei jumped back, surprised by the movement, and the laughter of the people in the street erupted even louder.

Ro: Fața lui Andrei se înroși de jenă, dar apoi el însuși izbucni într-un hohot sincer de râs.

En: "Well done, you got me good!"

Ro: " exclamă Andrei, batând amical omul-statue pe spate, care acum își păstra cu greu echilibrul.
En: exclaimed Andrei, patting the street artist on the back in a friendly manner, who now struggled to keep his balance.

Ro: După aceea, prietenii și-au continuat plimbarea prin Centrul Vechi, povestind și râzând de întâmplarea cu omul-statue.
En: After that, the friends continued their stroll through the Old Town, recounting and laughing about the encounter with the statue-man.

Ro: Până la urmă, această mică aventură a devenit una dintre amintirile lor favorite, un moment pe care îl vor rememora de fiecare dată când se vor gândi la străzile vechi ale Bucureștiului.
