Originally from Selden, N.Y. on Long Island, Joe Murgia moved to Los Angeles in 2006 where he worked as a camera operator on such shows as "Gene Simmons: Family Jewels" and "Wife Swap." In 2009, he made another move to Las Vegas to work as the Director of Photography on the History Channel's hit show, "Pawn Stars."
Now a freelance camera operator, he continues to shoot on various reality shows, including "90 Day Fiancé" and his all-time favorite gig, Vegas Golden Knights hockey.
After reading "Communion," by Whitley Strieber in 1996, it sent him down a paranormal rabbit hole in which he now resides. Joe runs a blog - www.ufojoe.net - where he focuses on the latest information about UFOs, AATIP, (the government's secret UFO program) Tom DeLonge's "To The Stars Academy of Arts and Science" and related paranormal subjects.
His latest is a 24,000-word, four-part Mega-Blog, detailing his twenty-three-year journey related to the Wilson/Davis crash retrieval documents. He's a prolific user of Twitter and chronicler of interesting information. After studying UFOs for 23 years, he still doesn't know what it all means.
