Comedian Joel Creasey has commented on the difficulties confronting a gay footballer in coming out publicly, after revealing he had a sexual affair with a “bloody good” current AFL player.
Creasey made the revelation in his new book, ‘Thirsty: Confessions of a Fame Whore’ and told Jodie & Soda whilst it would be difficult to come out as an AFL player he hopes it won’t be long until a player comes out. “I’ve been sitting in the stands of football and heard awful things said so I understand “I think the time is ripened and I think whoever comes out will be doing an amazing thing and you know give me a call!”
