God sent Jesus from heaven to earth, not to set up a religion, but to make the way for you to have a personal relationship with you through His Son Jesus Christ – God with you – Emmanuel.

Jesus came for you personally, he didn't just call you, He came to you and for you.

Just as the LORD himself promised to give you the sign. He Did! A virgin will conceive a child!

She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus [which means Savior], for He will save His people from their sins [that is, prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God]. All this took place that it might be fulfilled which the Lord had spoken through the prophet Isaiah, Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel–which, when translated, means, God with us. Isaiah 7:14,) Matthew‬ ‭1:21-23‬ ‬

Jesus came from your loving Heavenly Father who sent His Son on a mission to free you from Satan’s power; to provide forgiveness for your sins; to bring you into a beautiful, personal, eternal relationship with the true and the living God who loves you with an everlasting love, who has a wonderful plan that began the moment you receive Him.

The Greatest Gift

God’s gift is permanent; it goes on and on and changes lives. His gift takes us out of the realm of darkness and brings us into the light. It takes us from a place of being aimless, with no connection to our Maker, and brings us into a relationship with Him. Christmas is about God making a way for His estranged children to come home. What a glorious thing it is to know Him. Receive that great gift today!

To Pay Our Debt

Second, Jesus came to give His life as a ransom. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).

To Give Us Abundant Life

Third, in John 10:10 we read, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus came to give us life. Implied in these words is this: Mankind’s view of life isn’t life at all, according to Jesus. He is talking about spiritual things. Remember, because of sin, we were dead. We needed to be made alive, and we have been through faith in Christ. But what we’ve been given is spiritual life; Jesus called it abundant life.

Jesus Came to Give His Life as a Ransom for Many

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45)

Jesus came to give His very life to save yours. He was born into the world so that He could die for the world.

Paul says it this way, “But when the fullness of time had come, the proper time had fully come, [that’s the time of his birth, we celebrate as Christmas], God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem, purchase your freedom to ransom, to atone for you who were under the law, so that you might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon you and be recognized as God's son. (Galatians 4:4-5)

Jesus Came to Give Eternal Life

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Now this is the greatest Christmas gift one can receive—the gift of eternal life. Jesus came to give eternal life to whoever believes in Jesus.

Jesus came to seek and save those who are lost. “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” – Luke 19:10

Jesus came to give us an example on how to live our lives here on earth. “Just as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” – Matthew 20:28

Jesus came to do the Will of His Father. “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.” – John 6:38

Jesus came to be a Light shining brightly in our world of darkness. “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness.” – John 12:46

Jesus came so we could have abundant life. “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10

Jesus came to proclaim the Good News about the Kingdom of God. “And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.” – Mark 1:38

Jesus came to die on a cross for the sins of the world. “Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.” – John 12:27

Jesus Christ came into the world as a demonstration of God’s mercy, grace and unconditional love for you and for me. “In this is love, not that you loved God, but that He loved you and sent His Son to be the propitiation for your sins. – 1 John 4:10
